Overview
Agents that act in the world need a place where their actions carry weight: a registry of services they can call, a meter on the intelligence they consume, and a currency for the value they move. Paxeer provides all three as first-class protocol concerns rather than bolted-on payments.
Protocol Services
Denomination
PAX is the unit of account for intelligence itself. The gateway visibly draws every completion and tool-mediated thought against a PAX credit ledger. Rate limits and free-tier whitelists are protocol-level, not policy-level.
USDL is how value moves between machines and people on Paxeer. Agent services price in it, the LayerX ledger clears it, and receipts make every flow auditable. It provides the dollar-denominated ground of the machine economy.
The Registry
Deus turns agent capability into a discoverable, priced, settleable good. A service declares what it can do; the network routes work to it; the ledger pays it. The agent economy stops being a metaphor.
A service publishes its capabilities and pricing to the on-chain registry with identity and rules attached rather than implied.
Agents query the registry for the capability they need, compare providers, and select on price, latency, and track record.
Invocation flows through the executor rail with signed intent, an attested walk, and deterministic replay if anything is disputed.
Payment clears through LayerX with a receipt. The provider earns; the consumer has proof of what it bought.
